Muslim Ummah of North America MUNA Cityline Chapter celebrated an Eid Reunion on Monday, April 8, at the MUNA Center of New York. The event, held after Maghrib prayers, was chaired by MUNA Cityline Chapter President Maulana Ruhul Ambia Suman. People from various professions and backgrounds attended the joyous occasion.

The program was started with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Imam Hafiz Maulana Mohiuddin of the MUNA Center of New York, under the modarastion of MUNA Cityline Chapter Secretary Akramul Haque.

The keynote address was delivered by MUNA National President and the Khateeb of Baytul Mamur Mosque, Imam Dalouer Hossain. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of applying the lessons learned during Ramadan in daily life and being thankful to Allah. He reminded the audience that failing to express gratitude to Allah could result in being deprived of His blessings. As Allah (SWT) says, "If we do not give thanks, our lives will be filled with unrest."

Imam Delwar also spoke passionately about the ongoing atrocities in Palestine, condemning the injustices Muslims are facing due to division within their ranks. He urged the attendees to stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine, offering both moral and financial support. He reminded the audience that Allah tests us with our wealth and lives, and it is our duty to assist others in their times of need.

Special guest Maulana Emadullah, President of MUNA New York South Zone, also addressed the gathering, adding to the spirit of unity and support for the broader Muslim community.

The event brought together various leaders of MUNA, chapter members, and representatives from the larger Muslim community, making it a heartwarming and successful Eid reunion celebration.
