Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has categorically dismissed rumors regarding his resignation as completely baseless, affirming that he remains in office and is actively managing state affairs as usual. He also rejected claims of any friction between his administration and the leadership of the Islamic Revolution.

According to a report by the Iranian news agency Tasnim, Pezeshkian stated during a televised interview marking the second anniversary of his administration that his government operates in full coordination with the country's armed forces. Addressing the resignation speculations, he remarked, "These are entirely rumors. If I ever decide to resign, I will inform the public myself. However, I am not resigning and will remain firm in my duties."

Pezeshkian further noted that certain factions are intentionally trying to propagate the narrative of a divide between his administration and Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Previously, Mohammad Mahdi Tabatabai, the deputy communications director at the presidential office, also denounced the reports as completely false, accusing political hardliners of spreading disinformation to weaken national unity and serve the interests of Iran's adversaries.
