The Hawaii Sub-Chapter of the Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA organized a special Iftar Mahfil on Wednesday, March 11, in Honolulu, bringing together members of the Bangladeshi Muslim community along with their families.
The event was attended by Dr. Ruhul Amin, National Assistant Executive Director of MUNA and Chairman of the Al-Quran Dawah Center, who joined as the Chief Guest. Dr. Riazul Islam, Director of the MUNA Family Department, attended the program as the Special Guest.

The program was presided over by Dr. Arif Rahman, President of the MUNA Honolulu Sub-Chapter and Professor of Electrical Engineering at Hawaii Pacific University. The event was organized and coordinated by Murad Hossain, Assistant Professor of Electrical Engineering at Hawaii Pacific University and Secretary of the Sub-Chapter, along with Aftab Rahman, Treasurer of the Sub-Chapter and a graduate student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa.

During his speech, Chief Guest Dr. Ruhul Amin highlighted the significance of Taqwa (God-consciousness), fasting during Ramadan, and the importance of understanding and following the teachings of the Holy Quran.
Community leaders, university faculty members, and many Bangladeshi brothers and sisters living in Hawaii attended the gathering along with their family members. The program concluded with Iftar followed by a dinner.
Organizers noted that the event also marked the completion of MUNA’s “50 States Dawah Plan,” as Hawaii became the final state where the initiative was successfully implemented. They expressed gratitude and said, “Alhamdulillah, with this program the Dawah activities have now reached all 50 states of the United States.”
