MUNA Member Dies While Returning Home After Hajj

Muhammad Bahar Uddin, a member of the Buffalo Lovejoy Chapter of the Muslim Ummah of North America - MUNA New York, has passed away (Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un).

The news was confirmed through a statement posted on the official Facebook page of the MUNA Michigan Chapter.

According to family sources, Bahar Uddin traveled to Bangladesh after completing the sacred pilgrimage of Hajj. While returning to the United States, he suffered a brain stroke during a transit stop at Hamad International Airport in Qatar.

He was subsequently admitted to a local hospital, where he remained in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) under treatment. Despite medical efforts, he later passed away.

MUNA members and community leaders have expressed their condolences to the bereaved family and prayed for the forgiveness of the deceased and strength for his loved ones during this difficult time.
