Tehran has claimed that the United States military has suffered unprecedented losses during the first week of the ongoing conflict in the Middle East.

According to a senior Iranian intelligence source, Iran’s retaliatory operations—launched on February 28—have resulted in at least 200 American troops killed and more than 3,000 injured.

The intelligence report also alleges that the air defense systems of both U.S. and Israeli forces are now at a critical level. The unnamed official stated that over the past seven days, 153 U.S. missile launch platforms and 23 Patriot missile systems have been completely destroyed.

Additionally, the report claims that 37 fighter jets and helicopters have been shot down, and approximately 43 percent of U.S. military assets deployed in the region have been eliminated.

The conflict reportedly began on February 28, when an American-Israeli coalition allegedly carried out assassinations targeting Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, along with several top military officials.

At the same time, an attack on a primary school in southern Iran reportedly killed 170 students, sparking widespread global outrage.

In response, Iranian armed forces have conducted 58 strikes so far under what they have named “Operation True Promise 4.”
