China Reaffirms Firm Support for an Independent and Sovereign Palestinian State

China has reaffirmed its unwavering support for the establishment of an independent and sovereign State of Palestine, reiterating its long-standing position on the Palestinian issue.

According to a report published Monday by the Palestinian state news agency WAFA, Sun Zhen, China's chief representative to Palestine, made the remarks during a press conference held at the Chinese Embassy in Ramallah.

Sun pledged that China would continue providing humanitarian and development assistance to the Palestinian people. He also expressed Beijing's commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations with Palestine and elevating the partnership to a new level.

Referring to his recent meetings with senior Palestinian leaders, the Chinese diplomat said he had witnessed firsthand the severe hardships and injustices faced by ordinary Palestinians, underscoring China's continued concern over the humanitarian situation.

Sun also noted that this year marks the third anniversary of the establishment of the China–Palestine strategic partnership. He said China would continue its efforts to deepen diplomatic ties and expand bilateral cooperation in the years ahead.

China has consistently voiced support for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state and has maintained its commitment to humanitarian assistance and diplomatic engagement with the Palestinian leadership.
