U.S. Assistant Trade Representative for South and Central Asia, Brendan Lynch, will visit Dhaka from May 5 to May 7 to enhance bilateral trade and investment relations between Bangladesh and the United States.
According to a media note issued on Monday by the U.S. Embassy in Dhaka, Lynch will lead a delegation to hold discussions aimed at strengthening economic cooperation and expanding commercial opportunities between the two countries.
The embassy stated that the United States looks forward to partnering with Bangladesh in implementing a reciprocal trade agreement. The agreement is expected to improve market access for both countries, remove investment barriers, and increase trade opportunities, ultimately supporting stronger economic growth.
