Abhijit Dipke, founder of the online political movement “Cockroach Janata Party,” has announced that he is returning to India and placing his fate “in the hands of the Constitution,” ahead of a planned protest in the capital.

In a post on the social media platform X, Dipke wrote that he was en route to India and would take part in a demonstration scheduled for Saturday at Jantar Mantar, a traditional site for public protests.

Protest Against Education Minister

Upon arrival in New Delhi, Dipke said he intends to launch a peaceful protest demanding the resignation of India’s Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, accusing him of failing to ensure transparency and accountability in national examinations.

He alleged irregularities and systemic failures in major Indian exams including NEET, CBSE board examinations, CUET, and SSC GD recruitment tests, claiming that millions of students have been affected by inconsistencies in the system.

Dipke said the situation has raised serious questions about governance in India’s education sector.

Large-Scale Student Impact Claimed

The activist claimed that more than one crore students have been affected across various examinations:

  • NEET (medical entrance exams)
  • CBSE board exams
  • CUET university entrance tests
  • SSC GD recruitment exams

He argued that widespread irregularities have created uncertainty about the future of students and demanded accountability from the government.

Security and Legal Concerns

Dipke had initially urged supporters to gather at the airport to welcome him upon arrival, but later withdrew the call, warning that a large crowd could disrupt airport operations and security arrangements.

He also stated that upon arrival, he would report to the Parliament Street Police Station and seek permission to hold a peaceful demonstration at Jantar Mantar.

Despite anticipating possible legal risks, including arrest, he said he would proceed with the protest plan and remain committed to a peaceful, constitutional approach.

Commitment to Peaceful Protest

In a video message, Dipke emphasized discipline among supporters, urging them not to create any disorder.

“We are law-abiding citizens,” he said, calling for responsible and peaceful conduct during the protest.

He reiterated that the movement would remain strictly non-violent and within the constitutional framework.

Background of Education Concerns

Dipke’s campaign focuses on alleged failures in India’s examination system, which he says have impacted millions of students across the country. He argues that the lack of transparency and accountability in competitive exams has caused widespread anxiety and mistrust among students and parents.

The planned demonstration at Jantar Mantar is expected to draw attention to these grievances as he seeks broader public and political support for his demands.
